HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Vandaag start een nieuwe challenge bij het WOJ challenge blog.

Het thema voor de komende 14 dagen is Happy Birthday.

Kijk gerust op het Whiff of Joy blog om te zien wat voor superleuke creaties mijn mede teammies gemaakt hebben of breng een bezoekje aan hun persoonlijke blogs.

Ik vind de januari stempel release van Whiff of Joy nog steeds errug gaaf om te gebruiken, dit is er 1 van.

Ik heb opnieuw gebruik gemaakt van het paperpad van My Minds Eye - Lost and Found Breeze.

Het blijft gewoon prachtig papier wat niet veel nodig heeft. 

Het effen papier met de stipjes is van Bo Bunny.

Het afdrukje is van Whiff of Joy genaamd I love my Vespa.

Ingekleurd heb ik het afdrukje met copics.

Het is weer voor mijn doen eenvoudig dit kaartje, maar om meer te gebruiken is gewoon zonde bij dit prachtige papier vind ik.

Ik heb ook stansjes gebruikt van Poppy Stamps en van Whiff of Joy.

Ik zie ook dat ik de magische 300 volgers gehaald heb, supergaaf en onwijs bedankt dat jullie me zo trouw blijven volgen en nieuwe volgers besluiten mij te volgen. Binnenkort volgt een candy om jullie te bedanken dus blijf het blog in de gaten houden.

A new challenge starts today at the Whiff of Joy blog.

Theme for the upcoming 14 days is Happy Birthday.

Today I want to share another men's card with you all.

I used again the fab paperpad from My Minds Eye - Lost and Found Breeze.

It's such gorgeous paper and almost needs nothing extra.

The paper with the little dots is from Bo Bunny.

I have used a Whiff of Joy image called I love my Vespa.

I have coloured the image with copics.

This card hasn't got much layers, but again, I thought in this case less layers is more.

I also used some dies from Poppy Stamps and Whiff of Joy.

HANG IN THERE

As you know I recently won this fab digi and I just couldn't wait to colour it and make a card around it.

The stamp is called Fluffy hanging in there and can be purchased here.

I coloured the image with twinkling H2O.

I used Maja paperpad which combined so lovely with this lovely stamp.

Almost seems as if Kitty is given the squirrel a helping hand or is he out on chasing the butterflies ?

Zoals jullie weten heb ik recentelijk deze lieve en geweldige digi gewonnen en ik kon niet wachten om het te kleuren en een kaartje met deze digi te maken.

De stempel heet Fluffy hanging in there en mocht je hem willen kopen, klik dan hier voor een link naar de winkel.

Ik heb Twinkling H2O gebruikt voor het inkleuren.

Ik heb Maja papier gebruikt wat zo goed bij deze stempel paste.

Het lijkt alsof Kitty het eekhoorntje een handje helpen wil of is ie op jacht naar de vlinders ?

WHIFF OF JOY TUTORIAL MAY

Today is my turn to give you some inspiration on the Whiff of Joy world of ideas blog.

Today I want to share with you all my first crochet work, love to combine it with Henry :).

I coloured Henry with distress markers and added liquid pearls on the bow as an extra touch.

WHIFF OF JOY RELEASE DAY MAY

Well, of course this one is definately my favourite of this new release.

I am so thrilled that a Maya digi with gorgeous little Kitty is on sale as of today at Whiff of Joy.

This digi is called I want to talk 2 you.

Kitty is so adorable and I am so pleased that I can show her to you together with Maya.

I used Pion papers, they are so girlish and love to use them.

I also used  a Bingo stamp from Joy crafts, I found the text so appropiate for this image hehe.

Several Whiff of Joy products are used on this card, you will find an overview of my used products at the end of this post.

Again I used my copic sketch markers for colouring and I will give you an overview of my colours I used for this image.

Sometimes the colouring of the cheeks kan be a problem with copics, I often use Derwent colour pencils for the cheek colouring, they can easely be used after you coloured with copics and allowing the image to dry a bit.

Natuurlijk is deze digi mijn favoriete onder de nieuwe digis van de release hihi.

Ik ben zo blij dat een Maya digi vanaf vandaag te koop is bij Whiff of Joy met de lieve en leuke Kitty.

De digi heet ik wil met je praten vertaald in het Nederlands.

Kitty vind ik zo schattig en ik ben zo blij dat ik jullie samen met de lieve Maya vandaag samen tonen mag.

Ik heb Pion papier gebruikt, ze zijn zo meisjesachtig en ik hou ervan deze papieren te gebruiken.

Ik heb tevens een Bingo kaart gebruikt van Joy crafts, ik vond de tekst zo toepasselijk bij het afdrukje hihi.

Diverse Whiff of joy producten heb ik gebruikt op het kaartje, aan het eind van de post vind je een overzicht met een directe link naar de producten.

Opnieuw heb ik mijn copic sketch markers gebruikt voor het kleuren en opnieuw een lijstje van mijn gebruikte kleurtjes.

Soms kan het moeilijk zijn de wangen te kleuren met copics, daarom gebruik ik vaker de Derwent coloursoft   kleurpotloden voor het kleuren van de wangetjes.
De kleurpotloden kunnen heel makkelijk over de reeds met copic gekleurde vlakken aangebracht worden nadat je het goed hebt laten drogen.

WHIFF OF JOY PREVIEW 2

Today another preview and day three of the Whiff of Joy's preview days.
This digi is called Lazy Afternoon and boy, this is such a delightfull and relaxing image, a joy to colour.
I used an older paperpad and a sketch from My Mind's Eye, which was so perfect for this boys card.
Releasing date for this digi is May 17th.

Since the tree needed some more blending, I did use the 160 grams DCP paper, but put another DCP 160 grams paper underneath so the blending goes better.
I also used glica pens that are perfect to use with copics, I used them for colouring the small sailing boot on the book.

Vandaag is alweer dag 3 van Whiff of Joy's preview dagen.
Deze digi heet luie namiddag in het Nederlands en goh, is dit niet een perfecte uitbeelding van een luiernamiddagje, zo relaxed als het jongentje en het hondje zitten en liggen ?
Ik heb een ouder paperpad van My Mind's Eye gebruikt, wat zo perfect paste bij
dit jongenskaartje.
Vanaf 17 mei is de digi te koop bij Whiff of Joy.

Omdat de boom veel blending nodig had, heb ik in plaats van 190 grams DCP papier, een extra 160 grams
DCP papier onder mijn velletje gelegd.
Mijn ervaring is dat het het blenden makkelijker gaat als je er een extra vel onderlegt.
Ik heb tevens Glica pennen gebruikt, die perfect samen gaan met de copics, vooral voor kleine oppervlakten zijn deze errug handig om te gebruiken. Op deze afbeelding heb ik ze voor het bootje gebruikt.

WHIFF OF JOY PREVIEW MAY 

Today is day two of the preview days from Whiff of Joy's May's digital releases.

Owww and they are all so awesome and jummy, definately must haves.

This one is called LittleFisherman and isn't he sweet with his doggy and his bubblegum ?

The digi is on sale as off 17 May at Whiff of Joy.

I have used copics for colouring.

I use my Canon IP640 to print the images, with original Canon cardtridges.

Although these cardtridges are more valuable, I can immediately start colouring after printing and the ink doesn't smear and destroy the copic brush.

I use DCP paper 160 grams or 190 grams, depending on the blending as printing paper.

I use the copic sketch markers as colour medium.

I get questions what copic colours I use, so I will share the numbers I have used on colouring this image.

Air: B01/B00/B000/B0000/N2/N1/N0

Grass: G29/G16/YG03/YG11

Mudd path: E55/E53/51/50

Boy blue colours: B99/B97/B95/B93/B91/B0000

Boy red colours: R29/R27/R24

Vandaag is de tweede dag van de Whiff of Joy digitale previews voor de maand mei.

Owwww en ik vind ze weer geweldig, echt waar, stuk voor stuk waard om te hebben.

Deze heet kleine vissersvriend op zijn Nederlands en is ie niet superschattig met het hondje en zijn bubblegum ?

De digi is vanaf 17 mei verkrijgbaar bij Whiff of Joy

Ik heb copics gebruikt voor het kleuren.

Voor het afdrukken gebruik ik mijn Canon IP640, met originele Canon cardtridges.

De cardtridges zijn stukken duurder, maar het voordeel is dat ik direct kan starten met kleuren na het printen en de zwarte lijntjes gaan niet bloeden en zijn niet funest voor je markerstiften.

Ik gebruik DCP papier 160 grams of 190 grams, al naar gelang het blenden wat nodig is.

Ik gebruik de copic sketch markers.

Ik krijg vaak vragen welke kleurtjes ik nu precies gebruik op de afbeeldingen, dus ik heb ze voor jullie voor deze afbeelding op een rijtje gezet:
